We had our prep meeting with Father Larry at Jennifer's church. It wasn't all that exciting. Basically we found out that if we want a better time for our wedding, we need to find a church that has no Saturday evening service (he told us about one or two in Austin) or that has one at an earlier time. Then we should go to that church and do the prep work with them. That was pretty much it.

The official planned wedding date is Saturday, October 5 2002. While it's not set in stone, keep this date in mind if you're already making plans this far ahead for next fall.

Aunt Hanka is sending my birth certificate and a copy of my baptismal records to me, so I should be legit to marry Jennifer. My cousin Jarda would be interested in coming to co-offciate, if he can get the vacation. I think I might be the only one of his cousins to get married by him (the rest beat him to his ordination).
